How EventLab Starter works

EventLab Starter empowers you to manage your events end-to-end with a WhatsApp-first experience, from registration to engagement and post-event insights. It is designed for teams that want a simple but capable workspace to launch quickly, stay organized during execution, and keep the attendee journey professional from start to finish.

πŸ—“οΈ
Create your event Set up your event name, schedule, registration settings, attendee flow, and access rules in minutes. You can prepare a workspace that matches public, approval-based, or invite-controlled event formats without a heavy setup process.
πŸ”—
Share registration access Distribute your event entry point through a link or QR and collect registrations quickly. This makes it easy to promote the event across WhatsApp, social channels, or direct invitations while keeping registration in one controlled flow.
πŸ“ˆ
Track registrations in real time Monitor participant activity directly from your dashboard with full visibility. Organizers can see how registrations are progressing, identify pending approvals, and stay aware of overall attendee movement before the event starts.
βœ…
Review, approve, or reject requests For controlled events, admins can verify attendee details or confirm offline payments before sending the access QR. This is especially useful for curated sessions, member-only events, workshops with limited seats, and manual verification flows.
πŸŽ‰
Manage check-ins and engagement Use QR-based entry, WhatsApp messaging, quizzes, raffles, and feedback collection without extra hardware. This helps you move smoothly from event-day operations into audience interaction and post-event follow-up from the same workspace.

Starter FAQ

Common questions before you launch

These answers cover the key workflows most organizers ask about when using EventLab Starter.

What is the 24-hour WhatsApp window in EventLab?
WhatsApp allows session messages only within 24 hours after a user's last inbound message. In EventLab, messaging, quizzes, feedback, and scoped sends only target recipients currently inside this open window.
Why do eligible recipient counts change between sends?
Eligibility is time-sensitive. A user may move out of the 24-hour window, be already queued for the same template, quiz, or feedback, or newly enter the window after fresh interaction.
How do approval-required registrations work in Starter?
You can create an event where approval is required before access is granted. Registrations first come in as pending, and the admin can approve or reject them after checking attendee details, confirming eligibility, or verifying an offline payment. The access QR is issued only after approval.
How are quizzes sent and tracked?
Quizzes can be saved and sent immediately or later. EventLab tracks queued recipients, answers, correct counts, option-level totals, and per-recipient answer status.
How are raffle winners selected?
Raffles support audience scope and optional filters such as quiz correctness and feedback submission. EventLab randomly picks winners from the eligible pool and stores the result criteria.
Can Starter support offline payment and manual verification use cases?
Yes. The approval and rejection flow supports offline bank transfers, cash confirmations, invite-only sessions, member verification, and other organizer-reviewed registrations.
What is the difference between Registered and Checked-in recipient scope?
Registered scope includes users who completed registration. Checked-in scope includes users who were successfully checked in at event gates. Both scopes are further filtered by the open 24-hour WhatsApp window when sending.
Why can’t I edit Event Name, Event Code, or WhatsApp Form after creation?
These fields are locked to keep registration flows, event identification, and collected attendee data consistent once an event starts operating.
How do message templates work in Starter?
Create a reusable template once, then choose whether to save it for later or send it immediately. You can preview templates, send immediately, and track recipient status from the same page.
How does feedback sending work?
Choose a configured WhatsApp feedback flow, send to the selected recipient scope inside the 24-hour window, and monitor queued versus submitted responses in your status views.
Can I manage gate officers in Starter?
Yes. You can add, update, activate or deactivate, assign gate, and remove gate officers for each event from the same workspace.
What if no users are eligible during send?
EventLab blocks the send and shows an eligible count of zero. You can wait for users to interact on WhatsApp again or adjust your recipient scope based on the event stage.
