EventLab Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the EventLab platform and services provided by Intercom Global (Private) Limited.

1. About EventLab

EventLab is a digital event management and ticketing platform owned and operated by Intercom Global (Private) Limited.

EventLab provides technology services that enable event organizers to create and manage events, publish event information, sell and manage event tickets, receive event registrations, issue digital tickets and QR codes, manage attendee information, communicate with attendees, verify event entry, and access event reports and management information.

EventLab does not sell or deliver physical goods. Tickets purchased through EventLab provide access to events organized by the respective event organizer.

2. Event Organizer Responsibility

The event organizer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information published for an event, including the event name, description, date, time, venue, ticket prices, availability, terms and conditions, age restrictions, cancellation or postponement decisions, refund decisions, and any other information relating to the event.

EventLab provides the technology platform to facilitate event management and ticketing and is not the organizer or producer of the event unless specifically stated otherwise.

3. Ticket Purchase

When purchasing a ticket through EventLab, the customer agrees to provide accurate information, verify event details before purchase, provide a valid mobile number and/or email address, ensure the selected ticket type and quantity are correct, and complete payment using an accepted payment method.

A ticket purchase is considered successful only after the payment has been successfully processed and the booking has been confirmed by EventLab.

4. Ticket Validity and Event Entry

Each ticket or QR code issued through EventLab may be associated with a specific booking and attendee. Customers are responsible for keeping their digital ticket or QR code secure.

Event organizers may verify tickets at the event entrance using the QR code or other verification methods. EventLab and/or the event organizer may refuse entry where the ticket is invalid, cancelled, refunded, mismatched, or the attendee does not meet the entry requirements.

5. Payments

Payments for tickets are processed through authorized third-party payment gateway providers. EventLab does not store customers' complete debit card, credit card, or online banking credentials on its servers.

The availability of a payment method may depend on the payment gateway and the customer's bank or payment provider. All payment-related transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment gateway and financial institution.

6. Ticket Prices and Charges

Ticket prices displayed on EventLab are determined by the respective event organizer unless otherwise stated. Any applicable service charges, payment gateway charges, taxes, or other fees will be displayed before payment is completed.

7. Cancellation, Postponement and Refunds

Ticket refunds are governed by the EventLab Refund Policy and any additional refund conditions specified by the event organizer. Unless otherwise stated, ticket purchases are generally non-refundable except in circumstances covered by the applicable Refund Policy.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled, the event organizer is responsible for determining the applicable arrangements, including whether refunds will be provided. Customers should refer to the EventLab Refund Policy for further information.

8. Event Changes

The event organizer may change the event date, time, venue, programme, speakers, performers, or other event details. EventLab may communicate relevant updates to registered attendees through email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other supported methods.

9. Event Organizer Settlement

Where EventLab facilitates the collection of ticket payments on behalf of an event organizer, settlement of applicable collections will be made in accordance with the commercial and settlement terms agreed between EventLab and the event organizer.

10. Customer Information

Customers must provide accurate information when registering for an event or purchasing a ticket. EventLab may use this information to process tickets, issue digital tickets and QR codes, verify attendance, communicate event updates, provide customer support, process refunds, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

11. WhatsApp Communications

EventLab may use the WhatsApp Business Platform to provide digital tickets, confirmations, reminders, event updates, customer support, and other event-related communications. By providing a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number, customers acknowledge that communications may be delivered through WhatsApp and are subject to applicable WhatsApp and Meta terms.

12. Prohibited Use

Users must not use EventLab to conduct unlawful activities, provide false information, create fraudulent events or ticket listings, sell unauthorized or counterfeit tickets, obtain unauthorized access, interfere with platform operation, or misuse another person's information.

13. Intellectual Property

The EventLab name, logo, platform, software, website, design, content, features, graphics, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Intercom Global (Private) Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

14. Platform Availability

EventLab will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and functionality of the platform. However, it does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

15. Limitation of Liability

EventLab acts as a technology platform and is not responsible for the organization, management, quality, safety, content, performance, cancellation, postponement, or conduct of an event unless expressly agreed otherwise. To the extent permitted by law, EventLab shall not be responsible for losses arising from event changes, payment failures, telecommunications issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

16. Fraud, Chargebacks and Disputes

EventLab reserves the right to investigate transactions suspected of fraud, unauthorized use, payment abuse, or other suspicious activity. Where necessary, EventLab may suspend a booking, ticket, account, payment, or settlement while an investigation is carried out.

17. Third-Party Services

EventLab may integrate with third-party services, including payment gateways, WhatsApp, cloud infrastructure, communication providers, analytics services, and other technology providers. The availability and operation of such services may be subject to their respective terms and policies.
